As organizers of the International Festival of Art Photography “Fotorama” we have decided to create a new character that would be the face of the Festival’s 2016 edition. We have searched for a character who would by his image represent the modern tendencies and the future, progress in every sense.

At one moment we have thought of the legendary film from 1921 by Fritz Lang, “Metropolis”, and we have decided to pay the homage to this fantastic cinematographic achievement and to imagine our own modern version with the same concept. After almost 2 months of sketches, designing and production of the armor, Iron Iris was created.
